As an ADF Rehabilitation Consultant, you will apply your clinical reasoning skills to support ADF personnel who have sustained a physical and/or psychological injury. Taking a holistic care approach, work within a multidisciplinary team to support the journey from rehab to healingPerform a variety of assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise. This could include functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or activities of daily living assessmentsCollaborate with a variety of stakeholders including the employee who has suffered injury, illness, or trauma, medical specialists, other treatment providers and allied health professionalsDevelop, implement and monitor rehabilitation plans.

KPI’s based on service delivery outcomes, NOT billable hours. Genuine person-centred focus and goal setting.

Set working hours means you can truly have WORK / LIFE balance – no overtime, no outside of work hours work. Enjoy early starts and early finishes: 7:30am - 4pm Monday to Thursday and a 1:30pm finish on Fridays. You will be located at RAAF Base Tindal.

What Will Make You Successful

Current unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC or AASW)Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Osteopathy or Social WorkAustralian CitizenshipMinimum of one year clinical work experience, registered in your chosen professionAbility to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goalPassion to help people rehabilitateOccupational rehabilitation experience will be highly regarded
